The summer

We've had a busy summer and as time goes on, and more happens, the more I need to blog about, but get overwhelmed at the thought of catching up. Tonight I am making time. Here is a little showing of what we did this summer

As promised, a few shots from the Northwest trek. There was a tram ride that took us around to see wild animals and then we got to see some other stuff on display.

Baylee really enjoyed watching the otters and beavers!

We went to quite a few baseball games, this is the minor league team the Tacoma Rainiers we went to with one of Baylee's best friends, Ruby, and her parents of course!
We celebrated MANY 1st birthdays, including our sweet little girls (that's a blog all on it's own). Here Danny was nice enough to share with all his buddies.

My little angel all tuckered out after lunch! Yes, she cleared her plate, she always does!!

And this was a nice little surprise I woke up to one day...she was SO proud of herself.

We checked out the childrens hands on museum in Tacoma. She had fun exploring, but I think she'll really enjoy it a bit more when she's a little older.
We always have a great time when my good friend Jenae, or as Baylee knows her "Aunt Nae" comes along.
No afternoon is complete without lunch at your own kid size picnic bench. I can't believe how big my little girl is getting!

Only a little bit behind

Here's what we've been doing instead of blogging

Baylee's first time at the horse races, she loved it!

Grandma and Grandpa came out from TN to visit. We had so much fun with them, went to a baseball game and showed them around Seattle

The week after my parents left we finally signed and got the keys for our house!

And the sun has made it's appearance a few times and we've taken full advantage of it!

We've also taken Baylee camping for her first time, went to Northwest Trek up here, and had a great time at Derek's aunts at the river swimming and intertubing. Those pics will be soon to come.

Oh how I love spring!

Spring is so gorgeous up here, but also still pretty chilly. So we really get out and enjoy the sunny days when they come around. Last weekend we spent some time with Derek's parents and our niece and nephew at the park. It was so beautiful and will parks right on the water edge, we all enjoyed our day.

Grandma and Grandpa bought all the kids their own chairs and sleeping bags. Everyone is ready for camping this summer!

We've also been spending lots of time at Safeco field watching the Mariners play. We've been to about 5 games so far this season, including 2 games against the Angels :-)

A couple weekends ago we took a drive with Derek's parents to check out camping spots for the summer. Found some decent places along side the creek, can't wait to camping trips this summer! Here's Baylee hanging out with her Grandma.



Baylee and I went to the zoo again with one of our mom groups. Someone is excited to see all the animals!

Not sure if enjoyed watching all the fish and sharks more or just the fact that she was standing more

Back to life...

So I'm back to working, and finally working the 3 12 hour shifts a week like I will be from here on out. It's bittersweet. I enjoy what I do, and the floor is great, and the staff I work with are friendly and super helpful. I feel pretty well at home there already. But I miss my little booger so stinkin much! Derek has been great about continuing our nighttime routine once he picks her up. And it's great that he gets some alone time with her too. Enough about me....
